You want to be the guy that said, "I discovered that guy." However, Hakeem Nicks is not that guy. He is an injury waiting to happen and now that his team is on the downside, his value will track accordingly. He was being drafted in the second and third rounds, indicating No. 1 fantasy WR value. But now his is more like a lower No. 2.
Why? Injury risk and almost as important, his team is not that good. So what happens when the Giants go up against the Cowboys or Eagles strong rush?
Who would you rather have going forward? Kenny Britt, Wes Welker or Nicks? Give me Welker, Britt, then Nicks. In that order.
